Creating an account and signing in
GH Planner doesn’t use passwords. You sign in with GitHub, with a one-time code sent to your email, or with a passkey saved on your device.
Sign up
Section titled “Sign up”Go to ghplanner.com/signup and choose one of these:
Continue with GitHub
Section titled “Continue with GitHub”Select Continue with GitHub and approve the request on GitHub. Your account is created from your GitHub profile, and your GitHub connection is set up at the same time.
Sign up with email
Section titled “Sign up with email”- Enter your Full name and Email address.
- Select Create account.
- We email you a verification code in the format
XXXX-XXXX. Enter it and select Verify email.
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”Go to ghplanner.com/signin and pick the method you used before.

| Continue with GitHub | Sign in with your GitHub account. Quickest if your account is linked to GitHub. |
| Continue with Passkey | Use Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, a phone or a security key. Only shown if your browser supports passkeys and you’ve added one. |
| Email code | Enter your email address and we send a sign-in code. Type it in and select Verify and sign in. The code is valid for 5 minutes. |
Joining from an invite link
Section titled “Joining from an invite link”If a teammate sent you a board invite link, open it. If you’re not signed in yet, you’ll be asked to sign in or create an account first, and then you’re added to the board. See Members and invites.
Signing out
Section titled “Signing out”Select your profile picture in the top-right of the planner, then Sign out.
